I wonder…

Who writes the horoscopes for magazines and things? Is it just some nut job who thinks she (or he) is doing society a favor by telling them they will meet the love of their life on the 23rd of whatever month?

Because for those of us who believe in them, which doesn’t include me, it’s a total let down. And for those of us who don’t, well, our hopes still rise a little.

I really would like to know, though, who writes them. Do you have to get a degree to write horoscopes? Or, as they should be called sometimes, horrorscopes? Or is it just as simple as walking into a place and saying, “Hey, I want to write horoscopes”?

These are the many life questions that are not yet answered…

Cinderella Pact

This idea came from the movie Lying To Be Perfect. Their Cinderella Pact consisted of losing weight and finding happiness.

But why would a Cinderella Pact need to include that? Why couldn’t a Cinderella Pact include just finding happiness with someone, even if it was just yourself? I think that it can and should.

A Cinderella Pact should be something among all friends, vowing to keep your friends happy, no matter what it takes.

So I challenge all you who read this. Vow to your friends, and to yourself, to keep happiness in your lives no matter what the cost. Then, maybe, you could really be Cinderella and find your Prince Charming.
